Uber Donates $25K to Yonkers Charter School

September 1, 2017 - Uber Donates $25K to Yonkers Charter School

Uber announced recently that it is donating $25,000 to the Charter School of Educational Excellence's Bits and Bytes initiative, which is an effort to fund technology for students at The Charter School of Educational Excellence in Yonkers. Bits and Bytes is an annual fundraiser designed to help bring in much-needed funding for computers and iPads, and provide the tools for 21st century learning to CSEE students.

Be sure to mark your calendars - CSEE Owls' 2nd Annual Fall BBQ is going to be held on September 29, 2017! Juices, hot dogs, hamburgers, and cheeseburgers will be on sale for all CSEE students and staff during all lunch periods. All proceeds from the BBQ will go towards the CSEE Owl’s 3rd Annual Athletic Banquet.

August 25, 2017 - Dear CSEE Parents, Guardians, and Prospective Student Athletes,

CSEE is proud to announce its tryout schedule for the Fall 2017 - 2018 Athletic season! Flag Football and Cheerleading tryouts will be held on September 11 and 12, and Volleyball tryouts will be held on September 13 and 14.

Yonkers Charter School Holds Festival, Offers Free Backpacks

August 18, 2017 - Dear CSEE Parents and Guardians,

The Charter School of Educational Excellence in Yonkers will host a free Back to School Festival this Sunday, August 20, 2017. The event will be held at Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site, located at 29 Warburton Avenue, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and will include games, activities for kids, face painting, food and music. Free backpacks also will be distributed to students ages 5 to 13.

"This is a great opportunity to connect with the community and provide Yonkers’ youngest residents with important health checks and school items necessary to start the 2017-2018 school year," said Kyetah Bryan of Affinity Health Plan.

We look forward to seeing everyone there!
