CSEE is happy to announce that we will be hosting our first Designer Handbag Bingo on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 6:00 PM. In addition to winning new designer handbags, we will also be raffling off gift baskets sponsored by each grade. We are asking families who are able to donate one item from the category their child’s grade has been assigned. Families are more than welcome to collectively donate an item. Please come out and support our school. See the attached flyer for additional information and details.

March 3, 2017 - CSEE is proud to announce its February Star Students of the Month!

Each month an OUTSTANDING student in every class is recognized as STAR STUDENT OF THE MONTH. Students are selected based on demonstrated exceptional academic achievement; exemplary personal and social qualities; showing a love for learning and engagement in the total shool program; having good attendance, punctuality and discipline; and being a role model by setting a good example for others. Every student, regardless of ability, can be a star.

February 24, 2017 - CSEE is proud to announce that the school has been featured once again in the February 24th issue of Yonkers Rising, Yonkers's only hyper-local weekly newspaper. CSEE is highlighted in the article entitled "Despite Opposition to DeVos, Charter Schools are Important," which can be found on Page 5.

Charles Sahm, director of education policy at the Manhattan Institute, reports that the Charter School of Educational Excellence "is achieving results that rival any of Gotham’s better-known charters."

February 9, 2017 - Save the date for the Aye West African Arts Festival, an exciting, first-ever West African Festival in Yonkers to celebrate the rich and dynamic culture of West Africa. The festival will be held from Friday, February 24 to Sunday, February 26.
